Mini-conference: March 8, 2012
Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 02:25PM Come and join other CCIL members at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal for a new mini-conference, taking place on Thursday, March 8 from 13:00 to 17:30.
You must be a CCIL member to attend (note regular or student registration at the 2011 conference included membership). Places are limited and attendees will be accepted at a first-come first-served basis when registered online.

To become a CCIL member, please click on "Become a Member" on the CCIL website. Membership fees are $85 (regular) or $25 (student) and valid until November 7, 2012.
Tentative topics for the mini-conference are three issues related to both the Jessup problem and the themes from both the CCIL 2011 conference (cultural theme) and the 2012 conference (crisis theme): the destruction of cultural property; government responsibility to investors during uprisings; and recognition of states.

Both events will take place at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal. If you require hotel accommodations, a conference rate of $179/night is available.
