The Canadian Council of International Law (CCIL) and the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) held a reception "Renewing International Law and Governance in North America", in honour of the negotiators of the three NAFTA partners on September 24, 2017 at the National Gallery of Canada.

The CCIL has a long-standing association with the Canadian round of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.

Four Societies

 

The CCIL, in association with the American Society of International Law (ASIL), the Australian and New Zealand Society of International Law (ANZSIL) and the Japanese Society of International Law (JSIL), participates in an innovative initiative involving new and emerging scholars, and others, from each of the four international law societies.
