TWO UPCOMING TALKS IN INTERNATIONAL LAW GROUP SPEAKER SERIES

On Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 11:30 to 12:50 in Room 351 of Fauteux Hall at the University of Ottawa, Professor Craig Forcese will give a presentation on his recent prize winning book: DESTROYING THE CAROLINE: THE FRONTIER RAID THAT SHAPED THE RIGHT TO WAR. Professor Forcese’s talk is jointly sponsored by the International Law Group Speaker Series and the Social Justice Speaker Series. He will present in English. (See attached for more details)

On Thursday February 28, 2019 from 11:30 to 12:50 in Room 302 of Fauteux Hall at the University of Ottawa, Human Rights Lawyer, Djaouida Siaci, will give a presentation entitled “MASS RAPE OF ROHINGYA MUSLIM WOMEN AND GIRLS: CHARGING GENOCIDE AGAINST BURMA’S MILITARY” as part of the International Law Group Speaker Series for the 2018-19 academic year. Ms. Djaouida will present in English and French. (See attached for more details)
