Call for Papers – ‘Navigating Stormy Seas: People, Place and Perspectives in International Law’, Australian and New Zealand Society of International Law (ANZSIL) Annual Conference 2026, Wellington, NZ

The ANZSIL Conference Organising Committee invites paper and panel proposals for the 33rd ANZSIL Annual Conference, to be co-hosted by the New Zealand Centre for Public Law, 1-3 July 2026. Submissions on a wide range of areas are invited, with a specific focus on the conference theme. For the full Call/Statement of the theme and for the abstract submission process, see here.


In addition, applications are open for the Alice Edwards Breakthrough Researcher Award, designed to assist one or two early career researchers or PhD students to present at the conference. See here for eligibility, benefits and the application form.


The deadline for the Call for Papers and the Alice Edwards Breakthrough Researcher Award is Monday 16 February 2026.
