The Canadian Round of the Jessup International Moot Court Competition, hosted by the University of Victoria Faculty of Law, took place virtually this year from February 22-27.
National Administrator, Leah West, welcomed teams from 17 law schools and some eighty-five judges from across Canada as well as from Europe and Central America.
The Canadian finals matched the University of Western Ontario against University of Toronto and University of Ottawa Common Law against Osgoode Hall Law School. Western and University of Ottawa won their rounds to take the top two places in Canada.
International rounds will also be proceeding virtually.
The CCIL was pleased to make a contribution to a swag pack, aimed at engendering community feeling among the students who weren't able to meet face to face.
Congratulations to all the competitors for their hard work.
