In the wake of a momentous US election, join us for a discussion of the rule of law in the United States and around the world. Professor Gregory Shaffer, the Scott K Ginsburg Professor of International Law at Georgetown University and former president of the American Society of International Law, will discuss his forthcoming book, The Rule of Law Under Pressure: A Transnational Challenge. The evening will be a fascinating and timely discussion of the challenges facing the rule of law both within countries and between them.
