The Canadian Yearbook of International Law Welcomes New Editor-in-Chief Kristen Boon

The Board of Editors of The Canadian Yearbook of International Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Kristen Boon, Dean of Common Law at the University of Ottawa, as its next Editor-in-Chief. Dr Boon is a highly regarded international legal academic with close ties to the international legal community in Canada. Her expertise extends to the law of international responsibility, access to justice in international law, the law of immunities, investor-state arbitration, state responsibility for state-owned entities, the law of international organizations, and sanctions law.

Dr Boon’s appointment takes effect upon publication of the Yearbook’s 59th volume, anticipated in early December 2022. She succeeds Professor John Currie, who served as Editor-in-Chief for twelve years (volumes 48–59).
